one God Kiss

7am rise and shine after a overwhelming late night response to the Fox29 News story.
Lacey is tired, but wired to go to school.  Her little spirit is filled with thankfulness.  She looks at me and says, "I am so thankful for Dawn to run the story twice." Then, after that statement she asks me if Carter saw it :) Typical 6th grade girl.

I, on the other hand need my coffee to get them off to school.  It was so hard to fall asleep after that story was aired.  I am still on a month aderaline high from the glasses.  We went to Cleveland November 19th and today is December 10 (Hapy 8 months Dawsyn) and the glasses are complete, paid for, and ready to ship.  Wow.  For those who know me, I am a believer so yes, we are not lucky we are blessed.

I wanted to share a God moment (God kisses) that Lacey had and we both knew right then and there God was in control.  Lacey has had a crush on one boy since second grade.  She liked him because of his kindness towards her.  She would tell me all the kind things he would do for her in the classroom and he would stick up for her with their mutal friends.  She would also tell me how funny he was.

We get to the hotel in Cleveland and the lady at the front desk told us the name of the conference room.  Yes, there it was, Carter Room.  Lacey was giggling to herself and we both knew right there, this was going to happen. lacey video click here

Fox29 Tonight

Yesterday we wired the money.  Esight said it will ake about 4 days for the money to show into their account and as soon as they see it, they will ship the glasses overnight.  That means, Lacey WILL have these glasses before Christmas.  Just to think we went out to Cleveland Ohio November 19th.  Amazing.  LAcey is so excigted and I am so excited for her.  She will be receiving a gift that will change her life.  Im sure its not going to easy, but Lord knows she is ready for the challenge.

Tonight they will air the follow up story on Fox 29 News.  I cannot wait to show for the first time Lacey seeing.  Can't wait :)

How do take the words "Thank you" that have been said over and over again become meaningful and alive? What words could I as a parent possible say to show my appreciation to all my family and friends who have support my daughte,  Lacey?

I am a giver.  I love to give people acts of kindness because I know even in my worst day, there are people out there who are experiencing worse.  It couldnt hurt anyone to give more kindness in the world.

I have thought over and over again would could I do to show this thankfulness? A party? Thank you Cards. A book. A dvd? Videos.  I'm still not really sure of the correct answer.  I know I will get the right answer when the time is right but for now, I am humbled enough to except the giftsd from my friends and family.  I am on the receiving end for this part of the journey, and that is ok.  I will be grateful and thankful.
